Setting up satellite internet in a field - all in a day’s work

It’s festival season! Including for us at Blagdon IT. We’ve been hard at work though, rather than catching any performances.

One of our interesting jobs recently was managing a Starlink satellite internet connection for a longstanding client at the BBC’s Big Weekend. Reliable internet is a must - no matter the location and mobile network data is not reliable with very large crowds. From sourcing all the equipment to setting everything up on site, we managed the whole job.

Next up, we’ll be getting this working at Glastonbury Festival, Latitude Festival, the British F1 Grand Prix at Silverstone and lots of others over the summer.
